ABOUT UDAYA AGRO FARM

Udaya Agro Farm is an Indian company located at Kumbakonam the temple town of India at Tanjore district the rice bowl of Tamilnadu state

We believe that production of safe foods free from toxins is a priority on the modern intensive agricultural has resulted in production with unsafe level of chemical pesticides and fungicides

In a recent research imitative we had developed employed classical plant breeding approaches and biochemical tools, to isolate crop varieties in rice maize and jowar with high dietary fiber and resistance starch contents food products from these varieties when consumed regularly will meet up the daily dietary fiber demands of both dietary fiber and resistance starch required for good general health.

With our recent collaboration with GreenFlora Biosciences Pvt. Ltd, Kumbakonam we have undertaken an ambitious research programme, wherein we employ classical plant breeding and biochemistry tools to isolate crop varieties in rice, maize and jowar for high dietary and resistant start content.

This R & D programme has benefited us in isolation of our best series of rice varieties with an incredible total dietary fibre content of 12-18 %. Maize and Jowar varieties with high resistant starch and dietary fibre are also in the pipeline that could meet out various food, feed and industrial applications.
